Papertrey's Create Along with Us Challenge August 2015

It's time for Papertrey's Create Along with Us Challenge and you know what that means-new releases are just around the corner! I am so excited to see all of the many beautiful sets they've designed for us this month.  Don't forget to stop by and check out some of the inspirational projects created by the design team.  They are truly lovely!

With all of the wonderful fall sets being released, I decided to incorporate some of my favorite PTI ink colors and create a backdrop of cheerful leaves. 

I started by stamping a piece of white card stock in PTI's Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Classic Kraft, Simply Chartreuse, Autumn Rose, and Pure Poppy.  The stamps used are from Tim Holtz' falling leaves collection.

Next, I cut the frames using Spellbinders' Lacey Circles, Large Circles, and PTI's Basic Backer die. I made several cuts with these dies to build my layers as opposed to using pop dots.  

The banner was cut from vellum using Tinsel and Tags and the sentiment is from Close to My Heart's Thanksgiving Toile.

The same technique was used here with PTI's Love die.

The tag was cut using Tag Sale #3.
