Playing along with Lizzie over at Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday Challenge. She created the most adorable spinner card and has a very helpful tutorial if you are interested in playing along.
Here's my take on the challenge:
I immediately knew I wanted to use a snowflake as my centerpiece. We don't get any snow out here in the Phoenix area but it's been extremely cold all week (thirties, haha!) so I thought I would use that as an excuse to pull out some sweet little flakes! A girl can dream...
I loved Lizzie's aqua and red card so I didn't stray too far from her from her color scheme.
Isn't it fun?
Thanks for stopping by. I can't wait to see what you create!
Wow! Brilliant. We get TONS of snow here in Ontario...why didn't I think of using a snowflake. Your card is just fantastic.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is absolutely gorgeous! LOVE your design and I never would have thought of red snowflakes, but they are perfect.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cindy!
DeleteWOW...love this! Your spinning snowflake is just lovely and the colors are perfect! Beautiful, beautiful card!! :0)
ReplyDeleteI knew your card would be one of my favorites. The colors and snowflakes are wonderful! I think I shall have to pin it! Wow 30s in Phoenix is cold. My grandparents used to live there. I miss going to visit - it's a neat place. It's 13 in Idaho at the moment so I think I'll stay in side and make things =)
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind! Thank you! Yes, 30's in Phoenix is cold but this week we are in the mid 70's. Crazy! I wish we had some of your Idaho weather. I know it will be hot again here before too long!
DeleteBeautiful card! Love the snowflakes in red.
ReplyDeletePerfection! Love your color combo and colorful snowflakes. Brrr, PHX in the 30s is very cold even if it's January! Think I need Christmas cheer after all...a gal's wish list never ends.
