Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Playing along with Lizzie over at Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday Challenge.  She created the most adorable spinner card and has a very helpful tutorial if you are interested in playing along.

Here's my take on the challenge:

I immediately knew I wanted to use a snowflake as my centerpiece.  We don't get any snow out here in the Phoenix area but it's been extremely cold all week (thirties, haha!) so I thought I would use that as an excuse to pull out some sweet little flakes!  A girl can dream...

I loved Lizzie's aqua and red card so I didn't stray too far from her from her color scheme.

Isn't it fun?

I used Snowflake Medley, Quilted Winter, and Christmas Cheer to create my card.

Thanks for stopping by.  I can't wait to see what you create!

  4. I knew your card would be one of my favorites. The colors and snowflakes are wonderful! I think I shall have to pin it! Wow 30s in Phoenix is cold. My grandparents used to live there. I miss going to visit - it's a neat place. It's 13 in Idaho at the moment so I think I'll stay in side and make things =)

  6. Perfection! Love your color combo and colorful snowflakes. Brrr, PHX in the 30s is very cold even if it's January! Think I need Christmas cheer after all...a gal's wish list never ends.
