Best Witches

Got this image from the Graphics Fairy.  I just love how she plopped the little witch hats on top of their heads!  So creative! I only wish I were a better photographer so I could grab some of the detail for you!
I used Crafty Secrets Costume Cuties for the label and Close to My Heart Sewing Stitches to "sew" my background papers together.  I spritzed the black frame with Ranger's heirloom gold but it doesn't show.  I promise I'll try and learn how to use  my camera!  Until then...enjoy!

Quoth the Raven...Nevermore!

I love this time of year because of all the wonderful Halloween stamps to be had!  I found the Stampendous Raven stamp at Michael's over a month ago and still haven't gotten over the excitement of my new addition.

I stamped the image and used black embossing powder on just the raven.  I used Tim Holtz' distress makers and water brush to color the raven and inked the edges to give it an aged look.  The background is stamped with Stampin' Up Bella Toile because all of my cards have to have a bit of toile somewhere.  I know...it's a sickness!  I added baker's twine, a black button, and couple of black rhinestones for embellishments. Thanks for looking!

Hocus Pocus

Hello and welcome to my first post.  I am super excited to show my first creation using a couple of stamps from the Crafty Secrets Halloween collection.  The girl is from their Halloween Fun set while the "Hocus Pocus" label comes from my all time favorite set:  Costume Cuties. Isn't she the cutest little witch?
Hocus Pocus
I cut the frame using a Sizzix die and inked up the edges using 'peeled paint' from Tim Holtz' distress line. The pinwheel is from his collection as well.  Thank you for looking!
