Papertrey Ink's April 2016 Blog Hop Challenge

Hi, there.  I hope everyone had a good weekend.  Today's project was created for Papertrey Ink's April Blog Hop Challenge.  Check out the inspiration photo.

Don't you just love those circles?  They really draw you in.  It instantly reminded me of bokeh art. Here's my take on the challenge:

My background was made using red and gold watercolors and stamps from Wplus9 Strickly Sentiments Stamp Set.

The sentiment was cut using PTI's Uncorked Word dies.

Hi! I have a quick post for Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday Challenge.  This week, Amy shared a little trick with us on how to create faux brush lettering.  Stop by and check out her beautiful card.

Blueberry Sky and Enchanted Evening were used to create my 'brushstrokes.'

I stamped my background using PTI's Hooray Stamp Set...a new favorite!

Papertrey Ink's Color Pop Florals

Hi, there.  Today, I would like to share a project created for Papertrey's Create Along with Us Challenge. There are so many fabulous items being released this month over at PTI so be sure and pop over for a quick look.  You won't be disappointed!

I am most excited about the new Color Pop Butterflies kit that Betsy created.  Check out this card she created.  Isn't it gorgeous?

Color-Pop-peek

I decided to pull out my Color Pop Florals kit and play along.  Enjoy!

I colored my flowers with various distress inks using stencils from the kit.  I love those vibrant hues.

I cut the vellum using PTI's Scene it:  Basic Backer die and the sentiment is from Uncorked.

Thanks for stopping by!  I can't wait to see who/what inspired you this month!

Check out her tutorial.

Here's my take on the challenge:

I stamped PTI's Friendly Flowers in Melon Berry, Sweet Blush, and Spring Moss.
