For My Addison

Good morning!  Today's card was inspired by my little girl who loves flowers, bows, butterflies, and all things pink!

The image itself is a digital download from Crafty Secrets.  The 'daughter' stamp is from the CS Family Postcard set. I love the little stamps this set offers.

The butterfly was cut from pale pink vellum paper using a Martha Stewart punch.

Spellbinders' 'Radiant Rectangles' and 'Bitty Blossoms' were used to cut the background and rose.

Altered Crafty Secrets Bedtime Kids

Good morning!

Here's a quick tag I made using an image from the Crafty Secrets Bedtime Kids stamp set.  Sandy over at Crafty Secrets gave this sweet little stamp and star paper to everyone who participated in January's linky party.

This project is almost identical to the one submitted for the linky party; however, I wanted to create another and play around with the color of the paper.  As you can see from the image below, the original paper was blue and yellow.

I use Microsoft Publishing to edit/print all of my digital stamps.  Changing the color of the paper from blue to pink was as simple as clicking on the 'Recolor' button and selecting the shade I wanted.  I love the versatility the digital world provides.

I colored the image with my Inktense Colored Pencils and used a little Diamond Stickles on the coverlet.

Christmas Angel

Happy Sunday!  I cannot believe the weekend is almost over. It feels like it flew right by me!

I want to share a little Christmas tag I put together. I know Christmas is over but I could make Christmas crafts year round.

The image I used is from the Crafty Secrets Vintage Christmas digital download. I adore this little ivory angel with her subtle splashes of pink throughout...so pretty!

After printing, I spritzed the image with Perfect Pearls and adhered it to a scalloped circle cut from a Spellbinders die. The snowflakes, scalloped circle, and now we're all inked with Tim Holtz' 'tattered rose.'

Crafty Secrets Bedtime Kids

Hello and Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

I wanted to share a little something I made for this month's Crafty Secrets Linky Party.  Sandy has decided to change the rules up a bit and I hope everyone has the time to play along in the upcoming challenges.

This month, Sandy chose an image AND a paper from the new Bedtime Kids digital stamp set for everyone to use in their submissions.  One lucky winner will receive the entire set found here and anyone who plays along gets to keep the image(s).  I am looking forward to seeing the numerous possibilities that come from this little stamp.

Isn't this just the sweetest little image?  This reminds me of my little girl who is over the moon about  stuffed animals.  We have way too many but it is precious to see how she lines all of her 'babies' up and takes care of them.

I used Spellbinders nested scalloped circles, circles, and star dies to create this project.  I added a little Martha Stewart tinsel glitter to the star and colored the image with Derwent Inktense colored pencils.
