valentine ombre...

Hi, there!  Today's post is for Papertrey's Make it Monday.  I am excited to play along as Melissa Phillips is the host of this week's challenge.  She has provided us with a wonderful tutorial on how to create an ombre valentine project.  Isn't her card beautiful?  Simple yet elegant...I love it!

Here are a few takes on this week's challenge:

I stamped confetti toss in sweet blush, lovely lady, and hibiscus burst and created an ombre heart border using watercolors.

I used the same ombre technique on the diecut word and polished it off with a little red felt heart, sequin, and sweet blush ribbon.

Third up is a tag created using various shades of pink.

My final project wasn't created with the ombre technique in mind but I thought this little Valentine jar topper fit well with the other projects.

Thanks for stopping by!
