Autumn Leaves

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone has a fun weekend ahead of them.

This morning I decided to make a Fall card as we are scheduled to hit 108 temps here in Arizona...a gal can dream!

The image is from Crafty Secrets, of course. They have some great downloadable items on their website available for instant print. Check them out and submit up to 5 entries for their monthly Linky Party which gives you the chance to win $50 in their online store.
The image is so beautiful I didn't want to add a ton of embellishment to the card and take away from its beauty.

The leaves were cut from a Tim Holtz die. I inked them with various distress inks and then went over them with a corresponding leaf stamp set. I used an embossing pad to stamp on the 'veins' and then brushed over them with vintage gold perfect pearls. I added brown and white baker's twine that came in a small Martha Stewart Christmas Twine set from Christmas 2012.
The green background paper is from a Fall paper stack I purchased at Joanne's last fall.
The little orange leaf is actually ribbon that I got at a little mom and pop store in town. I love it because you can cut one or a whole string and it is reasonably priced. I also purchased the brown polka dot ribbon from them as well.

Thanks for looking!
